Hola!

I am Gwen, co-founder and photographer of Gwen Pixel Stop. All the photographs you have seen in all the platforms under Gwen Pixel Stop are all edited personally by me.

I started my photography journey when I was 16 years old by taking landscapes. When I was 23 years old, I went for a 6 months school exchange programme in Germany and that was when I started taking portraits and landscapes. At the same time, I get to explore Iceland and Spain too!

I love to ask "why & how" questions so please do not be taken aback when we have the opportunity to meet and talk! I love hearing stories from couples from how they first knew each other to the possible future plans they going to have and so on... from this, it definitely helps me a lot in creating experiences for the couple during the photoshoot in order to capture moments as close as possible to the stories they have shared to me.

From taking photographs of portraits and landscapes during my 6 months school exchange programme in Germany to my curiosity in hearing stories from couples... somehow I have decided to be on this journey as a wedding photographer. I do not have another job and yes, I do this for a living.

The first thing I would do when I wake up in the morning would be: I soak into that feeling of being grateful that I am able to work on something I truly love and enjoy. To be able to leave memories behind for couples (& their family and friends) at the same time too.

Hey-yo!

My name is Chim and I am the one who is going to work closely with you right from the start when you first make an enquiry. Email to email, text to text, logistics-ready, timeline-checked, payment... almost everything but not the one behind the camera! You would probably see me using my phone during photoshoot like 90% of the time I am either taking behind the scenes for social media purposes or replying enquiries. Once in a while, you will get to see me using camera during photoshoots to work on my videography skills.

Oh, and that 10% of the time during photoshoot...? Taking care of all our belongings (including yours if need to!) and bringing them from place to place especially during engagement photoshoot together.

Are you wondering since I am not the one taking photographs.., why would i want to own and manage a photography business? I share with you personally if we ever have the opportunity to meet!

Besides all that, I help out with my dad's renovation business @cts.renovation

I enjoy playing floorball. At times basketball. A lover of cats.
